Opinions of MEN?

Heh that's what gets me most also. Not just the watchtower but with everybody pretty much. Hell, trinity, so many other things plus the stuff the WTS puts out is all man's interpretation of different things.

How can we elaborate birthdays from a few crap scriptures, and not celebrating birthdays cause the view of the bible maybe that death is greater than birth and that we get presents anyways. I have never had a day just for me, ever.

So I dunno that's where all secular religion gets me. It's man's interpretation of it. I'd just live it to what it says, not the extra add-ons that change every year.

my inlaw is a quad (home bound) & not able to attend.

Ya know, I wonder what are my JW friends and family's happiest moment in life? If they say an assembly even God would snicker at that. Seriously, if that's God's mouthpeice he would give some better stuff than the SAME THING EVERY FREAKIN YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

this is waaaay too bizarre... if anyone is good with shockwave or flash they should do a parody (although the self-parodying nature of this is too much!)..

Paradise Now!

it occurred to me yesterday that, for the most part, the jw dream of paradise could be created by us lowly humans.

sure, the animal kingdom would still have predators and prey, we would not be immortal, and the weather would still have a mind of its own.

however, most of the conditions you see pictured in jw literature could be created by us humans.

Btw Beautiful post New Light and FMZ. Alot of people make their own lives a living paradise pretty much. Man if I just had a little control I could do so much.

Lol that's why JW's are JW's. They realised that that can't happen so they want a place that they have no idea what will happen there instead. I'd much rather want this world than a world with a bunch of kind of psycho people. Everybodies psycho though lol.

But seriously think about it, would you REALLY REALLY want to be in a world forever with some of those people? Sure I love em to death but seriously for forever? God would have to do a total uturn on people's minds cause it wouldn't be no different from this world, well will be more fear. Seriously I wouldn't want to be in heaven if my mind was erased would rather have fun here and just die. Death is a beautiful thing when it actually takes it's course naturally and not because of some idiotic people and idiotic events.

I think I'm actually non-judgemental to the extreme sometimes. Like when I hear of a murder over there in Iraq sure I feel sorry for them, most of the time I cry days if something like that happens. But, I don't really I dunno. I hate them for doing that but learning about their culture and their way of life it's hard NOT to be like that. Still hate them for what they did but dunno. It's immpossible to totally non-judgemental. Think most JW's came to that conclusion a while ago.

When I was a more active JW everybody and they mamma (litterally) judged the next person or the whole world every second. Especially the whole world, saying how bad everyone is and how good we are and how stupid one person is for smoking but then eating stakes everyday on the other side. Always seen it, but I was never really all too judgemental. Seriously if we were joking around I might poke fun at a person but when I see like an army man I dont automactically say, "Oh he's a terrible guy for fighting in this hopeless war." Nah I don't agree with the war mind you but he's killing himself for what he think is right and I respect that courage. Its maybe not my type of thing to be proud of but I don't go around saying how terrible he is and stuff which most witnesses do ALOT!!!.

I think I use to judge people more but that's just my anti-watchtower membrane kicking in telling me to think the worse possible things about it lol.

I only live by a few scriptures. I only live to love EVERY human being with common curteousy and human respect. I try not to judge because that's taking away from the loving everybody thing. well.. pretty much I just love that's all it seems like you gotta do.
